Rhiannon Roberson, Associate IIDA
My life has always revolved around design, when other girls were reading teen magazines I was reading Metropolitan Home and Dwell. As soon as I could, I moved to Denver to pursue my passion in interior design. I attended the Art Institute of Colorado to receive my Bachelor’s in interior design in three years. An internship I completed turned into a full time position as a project manager at Downs and Associates. My position at the company allows me to fulfill my needs for problem solving by balancing the needs of designers and their project requirements with an intimate knowledge of one of the many facets of our great industry.
Within IIDA, I represent our company by attending the many great industry events, educational courses, and supporting our industry professionals and students.
IIDA is such a great way to be part of our design community. There is nothing as refreshing as seeing how many passionate and committed individuals there are in our industry. It’s a great resource for networking and continuing education.

Bolthouse Mocha Cappuccino protein drinks, those things get me through the day.
Which super power would you like to have?
Manipulation of energy
What are you looking forward to this year?
Neocon, last year was my first year and it was so overwhelming. It will be good to not be completely lost this year.
