Pam Weeks was an IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter Board member. During her years on the board she served as City Center Co-Director in Denver and Vice President of City Centers; additionally she was active on several IIDA committees such as the IIDA BESTawards and Holiday Gala. To say she was a vibrant piece of the Rocky Mountain Chapter and our design community would be an understatement. Her positive attitude, authenticity, and magnetic personality made everyone want to be around her. Pam was one of those rare bright lights who proved that there is goodness and strength in this world. Pam was always looking for ways to give back and provide a positive impact to our design community.
One of Pam’s favorite annual industry events was NeoCon in Chicago – she loved learning, seeing all the new products and networking. For several years Pam “sponsored” designers to attend NeoCon with her. In Pam’s honor, we will continue to “pay it forward” by sending two deserving IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter Members annually to NeoCon to grow, learn, and enrich themselves as a design professional.
Congratulations to 2015 winners:
Jessica Ramos, IIDA

She enjoys learning about a variety of different building types and with her organizational abilities she is able to juggle many projects simultaneously. Jessica has served on the IIDA board for several years as a City Center Director and continues her involvement with IIDA as a committee volunteer. She feels the Rocky Mountain Chapter has always rallied around the design community bringing out the best in its members.

Marcia Brake, IIDA
Marcia is an Interior Designer in Northern Colorado. In 2012 she started her own business, Brake Designs, LLC. She also found she had a passion for teaching Interior Design, and became an adjunct teacher at Front Range Community College. Earlier that year she joined a dedicated group that went on to establish the NoCo City Center. Since graduating from Colorado State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science and a Minor in Construction Management, Marcia has worked exclusively in commercial design, mainly in healthcare and education. One thing she enjoys most about consulting is the variety of projects and people she comes in contact with each day. IIDA RMC has provided her with great opportunities and friends, and she looks forward to continued commitment with this great community.
